The lovely people at Articulture have awarded me a bursary to go to the Prague Quadrennial – a massive festival of scenography and performance by theatre makers and designers from all over the world. The festival takes place in June, and I’ll be there for a week.
Things I’m most excited about:
Hearing Robert le Page talk about his process.
2 day workshop exploring spaces and scenographic responses with Sophie Jump.
Mike Pearson’s talk about site specific performance in “testing” environments.
Seeing the exhibits from all the different participating countries.
Being in a town full of performance and creativity with surprises around every corner.
Watch this space for news of my adventures and lots of pictures of bizarre and beautiful encounters…
